Happy Birthday, Bub!

One sad date I would like to commemorate is my sister, Linda's death. It's been 15 years ago that she died. She would have turned 40 on November 25. Her children are great kids. Zachary is 19 and Emily is 17. Zach is contemplating college and Em is a junior in high school this year. Their mom would be most proud.

Updates

It was with sadness that we bid farewell to one of the Goulet 21. Many family and friends met to celebrate Emil, aka Frenchie's life on Saturday. The loss of a family member reminds us how important our relationships are.

On Saturday, I heard some words of regret about not spending enough time with Frenchie before he left us. I hope you will agree with me when I say, let go of the guilt and use your energy toward living without regret. Funnel your energy to positive endeavors. Not to over-use a cliche, but make the time you spend with loved ones "quality time."

Mark Goulet welcomed an addition to his family. Grandson, Soren, was born August 25, 2005 to Mark's daughter Marianne. This is David and Joann's first great-grandchild. Congratulations!
