Mental Health Day at the Capitol
Today, I went to the state capitol in Salem with other NAMI members from all over the state to lobby for mental health issues. I met with my state senator and representative. There was a rally on the capitol steps and the governor and some members of the legislature spoke. I connected with some people I haven't seen in a while and met some new people. It was a beautiful, crisp winter day and was well worth one day of vacation.

I hope the governor and your state senator and all the members of your state legislature finnally get the mental health care they all desperately need.
